1 Arizona Desert Zephyrs
What is a Desert Zephyr you may ask? A zephyr is a wind that comes out of the west, a common event in the Arizona desert. A Desert Zephyr is a woman who loves to ride her motorcycle in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Arizona, as well as the piney mountains to the northeast, and to the scenic Grand Canyon, and . . . well, we've just got a lot of great places to ride around here, and fantastic weather to do it in (most of the time anway).

The Desert Zephyrs, or DZ's as we like to call ourselves, meet for organized group rides twice a month and coffee almost every Sunday morning. Please feel free to explore our website and find out more about us, Women on Wheels®, and where we like to ride around this awesome state we live in.

Purpose and Mission Statement


Born to die Motorcycle Ministry is made up of people who are part of the motorcycle community. Many of our members once belong to outlaw motorcycle clubs. Others were not outlaw club members, but lived the biker lifestyle, complete with its drugs, alcohol, sex, and violence, who now are clean in Christ. We are a family oriented ministry. We have members who were not involved in the hardcore biker lifestyle, but who share a love for motorcycles and have a desire to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We exist for the purpose of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ within the community.

We seek to evangelize wherever the gospel message needs to be heard and people need to know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

We are not a MC or MM, we do claim CM (Christ Movement). We do wear the 3 piece patch (Colors), we do not wear a state or territory rocker. We are representatives of the Kingdom and therefore NOTW (not of this world). We act as ambassadors of Gods Kingdom and will wear the NOMAD patch signifying we are without boundary and yet claim no turf.

Is a family oriented and a humanist association that does not distinguish between race, color, nationality, ethnic, origins, religions, gender, age, social class and motorcycle brands, etc. LAMA members share a passion for motorcycles that unites us in brotherhood of democratic idea?s, LAMA was intended as a touring Club. In 1999 LAMA became an International Association with chapters in the US, MEXICO, VENEZUELA, ARGENTINA, URUGUAY, CUBA, PUERTO RICO, AUSTRALIA, SPAIN AND GERMANY.

L.A.M.A was founded on the principle that motorcycle enthusiasts can make a positive contribution to our community. Our purpose is to create activities for motorcyclists and their families such as picnics, camping trips, motorcycle trips (local and cross-country), and while promoting biker safety and active participation in charitable events. Annual events include Toys for Tots toy run, LAMA Tree King annual toy run and many others.
